Hey guys this is my first blog post, I wanted to share with you my experiences over the past two decades in investing in real estate in NYC.  It’s not been an easy time for black man to invest in in in NYC real estate, but I suppose it’s better than the south.  I’ve been doing this for quite awhile, I’ve seen how it is to sell by a broker, by a discount broker, by myself FSBO, and also how it’s like to buy.  I’ve bought a lot and sold a lot, and I’ve also done it in many different ways.  I’ve purchased by myself, by being on brokers’ mailing lists, by looking at newspaper ads, and today by looking on the internet myself.  What really makes today’s real estate market interesting is the fact that there has finally been some competition and pricing in terms of commissions from brokers.  Now brokers are actually willing to offer rebates to their buyer clients.  This is a dramatic difference and can make the cost of purchasing real estate much less.  Look out for some interesting articles on this topic from me thanks.
